Wanderers Sports Club and Commonwealth Cricket Club, will meet in the GSCL T20 final, on Sunday Oct. 11th, 2020. Both teams won their respective semi-final game, against Berbice Royals and Jersey City respectively. In their game against Berbice Royals, Wanderers batted first and could only muster a paltry 109 runs, but were able to restrict Berbice to 94, due to very good bowling and attractive fielding. Commonwealth on the other hand, blazed their way to a very challenging 177, and in their turn at bat, Jersey gave a very valiant chase, only to fall short by 13 runs.
Both finalist will be playing each other for the very first time this season, as the lone encounter was rained out. |
